Our History
Beginning back in 1996, our founders were already involved in internet marketing in the U.S. and part of pioneering teams that were creating industry wide best practices for measuring, analyzing and optimizing online advertising. From those formative experiences, an Evolutionary Marketing process emerged.
By 1998, our founders were working with leading internet marketing technologists that created one of the first fully measurable online marketing platforms (search, e-mail, portal, etc.) and showed clients how $1 invested returned $1.50.
Starting in 2000, local best practices were likewise being formed at eachNet, Bertelsmann Online and eBay China and the founders of Darwin came together in 2005 to bring the best of local and international to China's advertising industry.

Darwin vs. Local Technology
Other local players promote the concept of rules driven technology, but what does that mean exactly? This is a simple rules based system that removes poor performing keywords once it goes beyond a target number, fine for small campaigns but does that scale for large clients?
While that may keep costs down in the short term, this approach is not scalable.
